My favorite subject to date is PI 100, a Rizal course i took last year under Sir Leoncio Co. Taking the subject under Sir Co was an adventure. He told stories and answered impromptu questions as if he lived history. He changed my outlook on our country's past and present situation, and he has also helped us students appreciate Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo at a whole new level. No field trips for our class but hearing him talk about history was very much the same thing, if not even better as I would put it as time travel.
Mulled over the thought of putting up a fan page for Sir Co. Lol. I was that much of a fan. Haha! Didn't though, nahiya naman ako. =P
In other news, yesterday was spent with sister at Trinoma and SM North. When Aisa Ipac tweeted about Jellybean's 50% OFF everything sale, I just had to check it out. You see, the first time I saw these shoes in Aisa's Jellybean post, I couldn't take my eyes off them! They were so.. full of angst. I don't normally wear these kinds of shoes but at 50% off?! I'll find a way to wear them out eventually. Might not be anytime soon but whatever, at least it's there when I
Can't wait to actually wear them out! =)

P.S. Super sad (and a bit irritated) when I saw Filipinos on TV who don't freaking know our National Anthem. Utang na loob, memorize it! It's not funny that you don't know the lyrics of Lupang Hinirang. And it's really not funny either when people don't stop and drop what they're doing when the anthem plays in the mall. Or even during seminar openings etc. Tsk. I have a lot of issues with Filipinos' civil disobedience (or in this case, lack of self-respect) but I won't talk about it now (or here). So I'll just leave you guys with a fun song for tonight's LSS! Enjoy! =)
Lupang Hinirang
Bayang Magiliw
Perlas ng Silanganan,
Alab ng puso
Sa dibdib mo’y buhay.
Lupang hinirang,
Duyan ka ng magiting,
Sa manlulupig,
‘Di ka pasisiil.
Sa dagat at bundok,
Sa simoy at sa langit mong bughaw,
May dilag ang tula at awit
Sa paglayang minamahal.
Ang kislap ng watawat mo’y
Tagumpay na nagniningning,
Ang bituin at araw niya
Kailan pa ma’y ‘di magdidilim.
Lupa ng araw, ng luwalhati’t pagsinta,Happy Independence Day Pilipinas! Freedom in itself has a lot of deeper definitions, but for know, at least let's memorize the song right? =)
Buhay ay langit sa piling mo;
Aming ligaya, na ‘pag may mang-aapi
Ang mamatay nang dahil sa ‘yo.

Yeah that is sad that they don't know there own national anthem but maybe there parents didn't teach them ? Who knows what the reason could be. But today was the Filipino Festival here in Australia i was meant to go with my boyfriend, because he is filo. But i was sick :( How lame is that. oh btw your shoes look gorgeous :)
Wow Jelena I didn't know your boyfriend was Filipino! Backread on your blog and your love story made me smile. Hihi. =P Too bad you couldn't see the festival there, I hope though you're feeling better now. =)
I super wanted to buy jellybean shoes but still at 50% off i'd have to shell out cash, so I opted not to. :( Love yours though!! edgy!
Nice shoes!! I think it's nice that you're buying shoes (or pieces of clothing) you don't normally wear... deviating from your own style ba, parang ganon. Haha. I just saw the blog link haha I should stay away from Jellybean if I want to save my wallet. :))
@Ava: you're lucky with your GCs, hihi. Until july pa naman (yata?) yung sale so maybe you can buy them a little later on, kapag may extra na. :D
@Claire: Tama Claire if you don't want to get bankrupt, stay away from Jellybean! 50% off everything?! crazy! =P and i agree, buying a few things that's out of the usual comfort zone helps me appreciate "new" things better. evolution of taste din, para maexpose sa mga bagay bagay. haha! :D
Gorgeous shoes!!! Love them :)

Thank you Bel! And thanks for dropping by. =)
mahirap yung questions ng graded recitation? pwede sample? :))
Hi! I'm about to take Sir Leoncio Co as my prof in PI 100. How is he as a teacher? And how does he grade?
To all asking how Sir Co is as a prof, he is awesome (subjective so believe me don't believe me). Difficult to understand sometimes (i suggest you sit by the first few rows, i didn't though), but if you make the effort to listen and understand him, you'll learn a lot. A LOT. Easily one of my favorite subjects ever. (again, subjective).
PREPARE.
I really can't give you details. No fun if I spoil surprises... hah.
UY, tuloy mo po sana yung fanpage ni Sir Leoncio! :D
