Boyfriend's first love is, well, a guy. Dirk Nowitzki, that is. Way before we've met, Ralph has been the number one fan of the Dallas Mavericks. And I'm not referring to the bading-na-bading-sayo type of fan, but the one who knows all the statistics, the articles and comments written about the team, the analysis of games and future games, segregating facts from speculations, and all that other geeky stuff that only the in-too-deep crazy type of fans do. So if you remember, before we celebrated our 4th Anniversary, pinanood muna namin ang game 1 ng Western Conference Finals (I'm so updated with NBA thanks to poging Ralph) Dallas-Oklahoma before proceeding with the date. It's something that I give to him. Tanggap ko na, pangalawa lang ako sa puso niya. LOL.
Fast forward to today, when the pulubis are now earning a few bucks here and there, its time to search for the ultimate splurge that just feels freaking satisfying. For poging Ralph, its having the official Dirk Shoes. *Dundundunduuuuuuun.*
So last Sunday, boyfriend and I went to the far (and rich, absolutely new to us) lands of the Fort. We were told that the Dirk Nowitzki Shoes from Nike can be bought there, specifically at the store named "Titan". As you know, Dirk Shoes are never available in regular sports outlets. Not even at the 2-storey Nike Park at Serendra (seriously? and you call that a "huge" store?). It's funny (and a little insulting? Nah.), actually. Dude, it's Dirk Nowitzki! But it after all lead to a rewarding search so, blessing in the skies. muhahaha.
Anywhoo, we got lost, etc etc, because we are not familiar with the place. But made the trip all the more fun, of course. And even if we are not exactly the couple who loves taking pictures in public, we couldn't pass up the beautiful scenes at Serendra.

Ralph, ikaw na ang naka-Dirk shoes. Kulang na lang, skillzz! Wag puro air ball ha? Hahahaha!
Ralph and I just couldn't stop smiling. I mean, This is it! Dirk Shoes! Agggghhhhh to see the smile on his face, like a kid who got his wish, really feels nice to be part of it. =)
P.S. The Mavs just won today's game, Mavs lead the series 3-1. Finish it next game!!
P.P.S. Gasol shoes spotted too at Titan. Mahirap din hanapin yun sa malls. =)
P.P.P.S. (WTH?!) I kinda like Lebron's shoe design better, and Ralph likes Durant's (next to Dirk's, of course). Dirk and Durant's shoes are both very simple, as opposed to Kobe and Lebron's. They designed it to reflect the players' individual characters. I think.
