4 years na? Felt like a breeze.

Today, May 18, 2011 marks poging Jan Ralph and I's 4th anniversary. So, did some celebrating by doing things that we don't normally do.


Wait. Before that.


In the morning, sinubaybayan muna namin and Mavs-Thunder Western Conference Finals Game 1. Ralph's the biggest Mavs fan so of course I gave it to him. Congrats Mavs! Dirk, imba!

After that, the date officially started.


First, we ate somewhere we've never eaten before. CIBO. Nice, the pulubis (That's what we call ourselves back in the days.) got to taste some shushal food. But of course, we couldn't splurge THAT much, so we were prepared. We saved our cibo food coupons that we got from Pakyaw's 250 for 500 worth of food offer from last month or so. Score! And since we are wise spenders (such an understatement), we research everything. So, we ate those that had the best reviews.

Yummy everything. (I am the worst food critic ever. I eat everything, I am not picky, and I always find the good in all food (sinungaling on this last one!)) Nah, I'm just lazy and out of adjectives. =P

Next, we watched a movie - sa movie house. We don't normally do this because A.) we can watch movies via cheap pirated DVDs, B.) we can download it it in clear HD format and C.) we can't afford burning that much money in one go. But its our anniversary, kaya it's a date! Watched Thor. And enjooooooyed it! Ang gwapo mo, Thor! And pogi's all-time crush for Natalie Portman was brought back to life. I understand, she's so effortlessly beautiful!

Because we pigged out at Cibo, we decided to just have coffee for dinner. Kwentuhan lang which we love doing, enjoying each other's company, which is never a bore.

I am everyday grateful, and everyday thankful to God for blessing me with Jan Ralph. What did I do to deserve him? Seriously. He has changed my life, put me back to earth, and had me see the world in a whole different perspective. He has taught me a lot about real life, about hard work, discipline, vision, and well, reality. We have been through a lot, and what we've been through in our first year as a couple has definitely helped establish a solid foundation to our relationship.
